On 20 October 2020, the US Secretary of State, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, The Minister of State for South Asia and the Commonwealth, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and UNHCR organized the conference above. The conference was held with a view to raise funds to help vulnerable displaced Rohingya living in and outside of Myanmar. Participants urged countries to increase assistance for Rohingya refugees, host communities, and internally displaced people in Myanmar.
